Ruth fell into the NZ tech industry by complete fluke when she arrived in the country thirteen years ago! Her first job was as a receptionist for a tech company (Fronde), since then she’s worked for a number of New Zealand technology companies and currently works at Xero as their Tech Outreach and Engage Coordinator. In the last seven years she has become increasingly active in encouraging the next generation of Kiwi’s into the tech sector. She has thrown herself at every opportunity going where she can help enable, inspire and encourage school and university students to pursue a career in tech.
