SheSharp, OMGTech, Colab AUT and Tech Girl Movement collaborated for Superhero Daughter Day 2017

The event celebrated International Women’s Day and took place in AUT. Years 1 to Year 7 girls were invited to participate in workshops that involved Coding, Robotics and Unmaking. We saw 140 girls from different backgrounds come through for an action-packed day ready to learn and get techy.

The attendants also got to hear from Mikayla Stokes, Bright Sparks winner, who shared her story about how she developed her interest in technology.
