Seasons Greetings from the team here at She Sharp. On behalf of all of the team, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We also want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us in the last year. Whether that was by attending events, reading our newsletters, interacting with our social media or supporting our mission in your own workplaces, we appreciate each and every one of you.

Over 2022, we've held 8 events, all sold out, with over 750 attendees. We also held the very first female-led hackathon, with one of our participants teams going on to win at the national AI Forum NZ Summit hackathon event!

We are super excited for 2023, and are now looking for industry partners, and ambassadors to join our team. If you or your company/organisation are interested in hosting an event or sponsoring She Sharp, please get in touch! If you are passionate about improving diversity and equality across STEM fields, and want to join us, please send us a message at info@shesharp.org.nz.

A huge thank you to all our 2022 sponsors and partners for making the events this year possible. To ANZ, Auckland University of Technology, CountdownX, MYOB, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and FlexWare, we are so grateful for all the support you give.

A huge shout out also to our amazing team, for working tirelessly on top of work, study, and personal/family life. Update on She Sharp

This month we held our final She Sharp event for the year, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and sold out with a great turnout of 80 attendees.

We had a stellar lineup of speakers. Persis Patel, Alexia Hilbertidou, Priti Ambani, Damian Harvey, Dr. Haren Sam, Denise Carter-Bennett and Mike Nooney shared their thoughts, learnings and experiences from 2022, and inspired us with hope and motivation, challenged us to be kind, and reminded us to use our positions and skills to inspire and encourage others.

We’ve already started our planning for 2023, and are looking forward to bringing you another year of fantastic events just like this one! As always, keep your eyes peeled on your inbox and our social media for announcements about these and other ways to get involved in the new year.

Thank you to everyone who attended this, or our other events throughout the year. Your continued support is much appreciated!
